(3) You pack, move and unpack at your own pace, then we come back and collect the empties. No assembly, no tape, no flattening boxes, and no trip to the recycling center.

No. We rent the boxes, dollies and packing supplies - you or your movers handle the move itself. We work alongside movers all over Southwest Florida and we are happy to recommend a few we trust in Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Naples.

A rough guide: 1 bedroom about 25 totes, 2 bedrooms about 35, 3 bedrooms about 50, 4 bedrooms about 70, 5 bedrooms about 100. If you are a minimalist, drop a size; if you have a full garage or a lifetime of stuff, go up one. Not sure? Call us and describe the place - we do this all day.

Our standard tote measures [27 in long x 17 in wide x 12 in high, about 3.5 cubic feet] - roughly the same as a large cardboard box, but it holds close to twice as much because the walls do not bow. It fits through a standard doorway and into a condo elevator without turning it sideways.

No, and that is a bigger deal than it sounds. The lids are attached and interlock, so there is nothing to tape, nothing to buy, and nothing to cut open at the other end. It is usually the first thing customers mention when they call back.

Yes, and they come with every package - [one per bedroom]. Each dolly carries four loaded totes at once, which is the difference between forty trips to the truck and ten. Extra dollies are $10 each.

Please keep out anything hazardous or messy: propane and fuel, paint and solvents, pool chemicals, fertilizer, firearms and ammunition, perishable food, and anything wet. Garage and lanai chemicals are the usual culprits down here. If a tote comes back contaminated we do have to charge for it.

The standard rental is 1 week from delivery. Need the totes longer? Just say the word.

Absolutely, and it happens constantly. Call or email before your scheduled pickup date and we will extend your reservation based on the package price. We would much rather extend you than show up while you are still living out of boxes.

Yes, and closings slip all the time around here. Let us know as early as you can and we will reschedule at no charge, subject to what is open on the calendar. Last-minute changes we always try, but in season we cannot promise.

Each tote replaces hundreds of cardboard boxes across its life, and when it finally wears out it is ground down and recycled into something else - nothing goes to a landfill. A cardboard box gets used fewer than twice on average, and reusing takes far less energy than recycling does.

Free boxes cost you in other ways. They are used, often damp, frequently carry pests, and they come in a dozen different sizes so nothing stacks. You still have to hunt for them, assemble them, tape them, break them down and haul them off. Ours arrive clean and ready, all one size, and we take them away when you are done - that is usually a full day of your life back.
